Yes its humpday so its time to reveal this weeks Svengoolie Presents: Billy the Kid vs Dracula

Dracula goes to the Old West and while riding on a stage learns that one of the passengers is on her way to meet her daughter at her ranch. Accompanying her is her brother who hasn't seen her daughter. Dracula the arranges for some Indians to attack the stage coach and kill everybody. He then assumes her brother's identity and plots to make her daughter his mate. When he shows up he meets the girl who introduces him to her fiancé, William Bonney aka billy the kid, who has reformed. When a European family who had earlier encountered Dracula decides to protect the girl and warns Billy of the danger. Billy then wonders if the man is her uncle. And it doesn't help that no one believes him and the ranch's former foreman is doing what he can to discredit Billy.

In Svengoolie set are Heroclik Dracula, Blade the Vampire Hunter & Morbius. Beside the desk are reproductions of the Charlton Comics Billy the Kid comics. Wish I could find a minature comic book rack, but this magazine rack seems to do the job.

Billy the Kid was from Classic TV Toys: Helicopter Pilot action figure with white hair

This was made easy thanks to CTVT, just need to repaint hair and add the gun belt and hat (repainted)

Dracula was another Alan Napier/Alfred Pennyworth head repainted on a Mego Dracula body.

Here is a closer look at the comic book rack.

I bought the rack off of ebay then thanks to comicvine collection Charlton Comics Billy the Kid I then reduced them down and printed them on card stock.


The comic rack was a fun item that helped flush out the set. It will not be showing up every week just when there are comics that tie in.


Again the stands are done by LaserMego with the Svengoolie name on the base.

Love the custom. I still think the New Mego could offer a two-pack for this movie, giving Billy (a western figure not included in the original) and a way to get the Carradine Dracula in without going through Universal for the House of rights.
