    Emergency Fire House Playset

Well, I had one last set of dida displays collecting dust in the closet and finally got inspired to do something, so I tried an homage to LJN's old Emergency 3-story playset. My kids have been playing with all my LJN guys lately so I'm excited to watch this in use.

Very nice display, Emergency was a great show and those LJN figures were cool.

By the way love the checkerboard floor, great fun in between calls.

WOW that turned out great. With all the new 'first responder' shows out there it makes since that kids will play with them. It looks great and I wish I could come up with that type of artwork.

Awesome job! I had all of the Emergency figures and squad 51 when I was young. This would have been a great addition. Nice work.

VERY VERY NICE!!! I used to love that show as a kid, and I always wanted the LJN figures, but never got them. If I had gotten the LJN figures, I would have been thrilled to play with this most excellent playset!!!

Awesome job! What's this set in the picture, though? Looks like a carrying case/slash playset. Is it common or hard to find? What are those things in the top shelves? Anybody got a better picture? But your set looks better!

I found a better picture on ebay. The other picture in the above post makes it look tiny compared to the figures. This pic shows that it's actually quite large and has two stories.

I see you used some of the same elements such as the checkered floor, the chart, and the coats hanging on the wall.

Yup Ronny, I paid homage to that set and used it as the inspiration for mine.
