Wow did this set turn out great! Know think about all those guest stars who could show up on the island next.

CTVT released these way back in the day, I grabbed a set back then for my sister who is a big fan of the show, she kept them sealed on the card.

I probably should have grabbed 2 sets since they are now rare and hard to find, and to bad classic toys never sold the heads separately, I might have grabbed a Fred and Ricky for customs, and I agree Ethel Mertz would look good for
Mrs. Lovie Howell.

I skipped the Gilligan stuf when it was offered; I like the show but not a huge fan. But if they had shown a set that looks like this, I would not have been able to resist. Great job!

Very nice set! Mrs. Howell's outfit and accessories (the umbrella, pearls, gloves, etc. ) are spot on, but I'm still not convinced with her head.
Have you considered using this Ethel Mertz's head, that is, if it's the same size??? Her hair is almost the same as Mrs. Howell's and she looks more friendly. lol

Great set and yes, Vivian would work very well. The WOz head is inspired for Thurston.

I love Gilligan's Island, actually just watched a bunch of episodes on metv and these really came out great.

I like Mary Ann the best, it's practically spot on, but they all came out very nice.

Lots of work and time went into this I'm sure, and it's to bad ctvt didn't continue the characters after Gilligan and Skipper
so thanks for sharing and just curious but is that a Mego Wizard head for Mr. Howell? and interesting choice using
Ma Walton for Mrs. Howell, and I believe that's the Premier Professor head? Nice job.

Thanks. Yes it's a Mego Wizard head for Mr Howell. I used Ma Walton because I thought Grandma Walton just look too old. It's a shrunk Premier Professor head.
