Custom Retro 8 inch Mego Style "GI Joe: A Real American Hero", OUTBACK
I remember seeing and buying Outback when the first cases of Series 6 hit the shelves in the Spring of '87, he was one of my favorites from that series. You've done a spot-on job of making his Mego version.
I know very little about 80s Joe, so I have to ask: Are the snake and scorpion his little animal pals, or does he milk their venom for darts, or are they there because he's Australian and everything outdoors wants to kill him?

The snake and scorpion were never included in any of Hasbro's iterations of the figure and not a part of his lore/backstory. The original poster has added them on their own. Also, the character is not Australian, his "Outback" code name is misleading as he is an American, born and raised in Big Piney, Wyoming.
Thanks all. These GI Joe RAH are really fun to put together, such freedom and so many options to decorate them. And, "yes"- I constantly think he is Australian, I guess because of the restaurant lol.

Thank you! Okay, they are his animal pals. The snake's name is Meghan and the scorpion is Hiro.
