My First Real Custom... Jay Garrick, The Flash

I love it! Jay Garrick is an awesome Flash! -I made a similar one also with that amazing Laser Mego helmet, but I used the short, red Evel Knievel boots from CTVT. They’re rubbery, but they look Mego-esque.

This is a very nice looking figure, gotta love how these look on the type S bodies

I really hope in the near future, we get Trek boot leg type S bodies, at the moment
I can only do a Klingon on the type S, I gotta have Kirk and Spock on type S bodies sometime soon.

Thanks. The boots are growing on me. If someone ever makes red Conan boots, I think I would swap them out, but these are working pretty well right now.

I don't think so. It was a merchandise dump by Zica.. and Castaway? (I think I got these from the 8-inch Super Store) at the time, I believe, because they weren't happy with how the heads turned out as a Kickstarter stretch award... or something like that! Too bad because I thought the heads were fantastic sculpts.

Every time I place an order at CTVT, I always add in the comments that they need to make more colors of the Conan boots, especially red Conan boots, selfishly because I think they would make great Jay Garrick Flash boots. Image my surprise last week when I am looking for parts on the website and I see... RED CONAN BOOTS!!!

I was thrilled to swap out the boots on my Jay Garrick for these new ones:

The shorter boots fit how I picture Jay better than the high boots.

Very, very Nice . I guess I must replace mine with the Red Conan boots now too. Just FYI. I used the CTVT Bruce Wayne Head (TV Series) and the LaserMego helmet fits perfectly

The TV Bruce head is an interesting choice! I's will have to see how that looks in the helmet. The helmet is a little loose on the ZICA head, but it stays in whatever position you place it (I like a little tilt on mine). And I really like the stern-ness of the ZICA head.
