I am not really a customs person. I like 'em, can't do 'em. But after fooling around with a couple ideas for a ZICA Toys head I've had for a while, I finally found my inspiration from looking at the DC Universe Classic Jay Garrick Flash figure on my shelf. And after finding some parts online, particularly the helmet, I finally decided to put this together and I think it works pretty well. With an assist *ahem* from a few well knowns here (Type-S body, megowgsh suit, LaserMego helmet, belt from Castaway Toys, and boots too (but looks like they are DST Cap boots)), I present my first true custom... Jay Garrick, The Golden Age Flash.

The boots worked better than I thought they would, but I still think I can do better; these are too tall for my liking. My idea boot would be the SF Robin boots (tough to get the feet in though), followed by the Conan boots (perfect height), but neither come in Red. So I settled on the red Robin Hood boots... and CTVT sent me red Hero boots instead. As I try to get that and another wrongly packed item resolved, the red DST Cap boots will work.

Not the toughest custom... everyone else did the work and I just had to put the parts together... but I think it came out pretty decent.
