I have trouble with good lighting for my diarama pics. Your's looks great! What type of lighting did you use?

Nothing Special. There is a regular flourescent over head, and the lights in the transporter itself have LCD lights in each of the overhead "tubes".

I think that is a good idea as well when and if you can incorporate that into your custom. I am amazed at how good yours look. Makes mine look sickly. On the brighter side you did give me a couple of good ideas for mine.

I was unable to find ones that looked right and didn't heat up too much. Gotta keep safety in mind.

Safety, Smafety... If Kirk and or the crew can't stand the heat then they should get out of the kitchen/transporter room.

Thank you for the nice comments.
My original intent was to follow the original series look but it mutated slightly as it went on. Being my first attempt at a diorama type playset, it was a great learning experience and the final result is not too embarrassing. I may continue the room later with more accurate walls and some minor color change ups. We'll see. The background walls in the photo are obviously plastic lids to some storage bins, but they did in a pinch.
