    MLJ Heroes: The Hangman

This is the latest in my Mighty Crusaders series of customs.

The Hangman is a hero who goes back to the Golden Age, when his brother The Comet is murdered, Robert Dickering becomes the Hangman.

In the 60s, he had a magic rope and became an enemy to the Mighty Crusaders and then, for no good reason a good guy in his only solo story. (coincidentally, the only Hangman story I read as a kid).

He didn't have a cape in the 60s but he did in the 40s and 80s and frankly, the Mighty Crusaders has a real dearth of capes so i kept it for flavour.

Clothes are CTVT, the resin head was courtesy of Sam Noir.

Here he is with the Crusaders.

Love it. Can the Fox be far behind? And I have an idea for the Shield.

It was the Golden Age origin, I think they ignored that in the 60s.

You have found your niche! I discovered these guys when DC tried the Impact strategy in the 90s.

They all look great. I love seeing these lesser known characters in mego form, they work really well!
