The printed muscles is a great idea, I tried that trick on a Wolverine suit. I wonder how a Tarzan body suit would look with the muscles printed onto it, maybe using a necklace and some wristbands to hide the neck and sleeve ends?

The muscle pattern was designed by my dear friend Paul "Daremo" Kuhr some years back. I believe we originally used it to show depth in a Silver Surfer suit, but since then I have used it for Wolverine, Namor, and a few others where I felt I needed to highlight muscle definition. Here are a few:

    Looks awesome!!

Savage Sub Mariner was one of the first customs I ever did. It's cool to see another one! I like the wings under her arms

    Thanks for asking!
Hmmm. I was thinking about Aqua-Foes and your cool Human Flying Fish--but with wings as above and attached Falcon-style. After seeing Namor, seems doable.

I'm not familiar w/ Savage Sub Mariner, (just Prince Namor from the 60s cartoons), but you made him look just like the comics. Good job!

That's a wonderful Sub Mariner custom, Austin. I particularly loved his costume (although I know a lot of people rank it right up there with Iron Man's faceplate that had the nose. I know they do now and again bring that costume out of mothballs and I would bet, dollars to donuts, that if they ever do put Namor on the big screen, you would likely see a version of this outfit since the studios would likely deem his green swim trunks as looking too cartoony...
