    MLJ Heroes: The Black Hood

It's my goal in 2017 to complete the Might Crusaders, the oft forgotten superheroes of Archie comics fame. Some of them will be slightly complicated, some of them not so much.

The easiest one has to be the Black Hood, especially in his golden/silver age duds.

This was completed hobbled together with parts from FTC and Dr Mego. The most work i did was the pleather collar.

The next character won't be as phoned in, i promise.

I wouldn't disparage a kit-bash as "phoned-in"--that's what makes DM and CTVT so wonderful . He looks great, nice pose too.

I like the Archie heroes, but I know them mostly from the DC/Impact versions. Hopefully you'll try some foes, too--some of them from the Remco mini-figs looked cool.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Phoned in???...I guess you'd have to blame the artist for that then.
Your figure looks completely accurate to the art portrayed so I say great job!!!
          Keep them coming.

I completely concur. Not (y)our fault the character is drawn the way he is.

He looks just like his one-dimensional counterpart has come to life. Bravo!

Thanks for the nice words guys, I didn't mean to bash kitbash in any way, just didn't really do much of anything on this guy, he just kinda came together.

The next member of the Crusaders is almost done and he's been a big PITA.

I love kitbashed customs, and simple bold costume designs.
