"Out here, due process is a bullet!"
Hollywood legend John Wayne starred in many great films and my absolute favorite is his portrayal of Colonel Mike Kirby in The Green Berets.
My plans to make a custom figure tribute to this character began in the Fall of 2014 when I purchased a 12" John Wayne head cast off of eBay. Between then and last Fall I worked on shrinking the head and made up a couple of casts last Thanksgiving weekend. After that I started gathering up the other parts that I would need with the exception of the beret itself. Originally, I thought I would have to fabricate one out of felt but, I recently saw that CTVT was selling the Egghead variant hat and thought it would make a pretty good green beret after a paint over.

BODY, FATIGUES & BOOTS - CTVT
BELT - Paco Magnificent Team Radiation Suit Trooper
BERET - FTC/CTVT Artist Hat with my paints.
M-16 - Doc Mego
BOX - Designed and assembled by me.
