Hi folks .Long story short , my college had a Halloween contest 4 best door display. I wasn't going to do it but got shamed into it when no one on our floor participated. I teach chemistry so I decorated the lab door. Since I'm a Mego geek I had lots of Figures Inc freebie skeletons and creepy clown figures. I had also picked up a really nice Yvonne De Carlo Lily Munster cardboard cutout at the dollar store. So Lily became Bea A Chemist. The maniacal scientist. The story I tried to convey in the display was that Lily was mixing together poison and I used yellow slime in the test tubes. But she told some poor soul that it was lemonade and he drank it and died. Beneath her is the remains of him his skeleton and eyeballs still holding the test tube with lemonade or so he thought. The little mego figures are harvesting his bones and his eyeballs for an eyeball flower bouquet. One of my co-workers called the display The Bone Collector. I won best theme. Nothing big but I did get some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups so that made it all worthwhile. The best part was seeing people Marvel over mego figures or at least mego like figures. And what could be more timely than creepy clowns theyre in the news everywhere now. They absolutely loved them. Just wanted to share.
Edited to add: The mego esque diorama shows green slime coming out of the skulls mouth , but I later found yellow and replaced it so it resembled lemonade
