The Amalgam Universe - Part 2

Group Shot Number 2 : Thor-El, Speed Demon, Captain Marvel, Super-Soldier and NightCreeper

    Thor-El (Electric Superman + Thor)
    Body & Hands: FTC
    Head: Austin. Painted by me
    Wings: From a Thor Pez
Suit: Austin. Sewn by my wife with cape added by her
    Boots: FTC
    Hammer: Doc. Painted by me

Again, I love how this one came together once I got the head wings figured out. Austin did a killer suit. But the FTC body doesn't stand very well so I may have to come back to it.

Speed Demon (Flash + Etrigan + Ghost Rider)
Head: FTC Skeleton with a custom Etrigan head pieces I got off ebay
    Body: Doc
    Hands: FTC Skeleton
    Suit: FTC
    Boots: FTC
    Knee Pads: Venture Brothers figure
    Belt and Stickers: LaserMego
    Shoulder Armor: FTC Knight pieces
    Spikes: Hobby Store
    Flame: Marvel Legends

This was a fun one to do. The suit is actually 2 daredevil FTC suits my wife cut in half and sewed together. I have another one the opposite way, lol. I added the spikes to the boots and suit. Not fun but necessary. The flame Steve so gleefully uses is mandatory. The belt really pulls this one together I feel but I may revisit the knee pads later on.

Captain Marvel (Shazam! + Captain Marvel)
    Head: Doc
    Body: FTC
Suit: Austin. Sewn by my wife
    Gloves & Boots: FTC.
    Belt: Fabric Store
    Sticker: LaserMego

I absolutely love how this one turned out. My wife added the belt for me.

    Super-Soldier (Superman + Captain America)
    Head: Mego
    Body: Mego
    Suit: Mego
    Boots: FTC
Belt: FTC with buckle added by me
    Shield & Sticker: LaserMego

Ok. This is NOT the MM exclusive but the one that inspired it. I had made this back before Charlee Flatt had one in Toy Fair. The head is an original Mego Supeman I sanded down and repainted the hair. The suit is an original Mego Superman and Captain America outfits my wife sewed together. After I did the Meet exclusive I updated this one with a new belt, boots and killer shield.

NightCreeper (The Creeper + Night Crawler)
Head: Mego and Me. Casted by Austin
    Body: Mego
    Suit: Hawkmike
    Hands & Feet: Mego Boards
    Tail: Me

The head is made of the parts of 3 Mego heads: the face of Green Goblin, the hair of the Joker and the ears of Mr. Spock. I put them all together and Austin cast it for me (thanks man). The body is an original Mego Green Goblin that a dog had chewed up the hands and feet. I think it worked out well. I do apologize as I've totally spaced on where I got the hands/feet and I've wiped my pms clean. So please, if it's you let me know so I can acknowledge you. The tail is painted wire with a bead on the end from my daughters stash. It is bendable. I love the head and how this one turned out.

The others shown at Mego Meet aren't finished yet. When they are I will post Part 3. Thanks again everyone and I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

Those are super nice, Scott. It's very cool to see the Amalgam Universe characters in MEGO format.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
