so, you going to sell these? I am starting to think FTC is done with Batman 66 and we aren't going to see FF.

Neat, the mask was especially clever. False Face's name constantly comes up on the FTC thread wish-list for future '66 waves, you beat them to the punch.

        Yeah - great figure.
        More masks would be cool.
How do you make them? You said you 3D printed but then vac formed. How do you vac form (I suppose I could just youtube that)

anyone can build this figure. Just need to dye the suit, mod the hat, swap the head (I used one of the Knights for now), Type-S body, vacuum formed mask - which I could manufacture and sell with permission from The Boy (Legend of Link). He designed the face we 3d printed and used as the vacuum forming buck.

The Boy sculpted a head in the 3d software. It was cut in half and then printed so it would lay flat (face facing up). We 3d printed a small vacuum form table and hooked up to our vacuum cleaner. I have a supply of material used to make backer card bubbles...it has a great melting point when using a simple heat gun...and walla.

^^^ Yeah, I can do the suits and stuff, would just need the mask. I was trying to do this character with an Alan Carter head as it looks all plastic already, but your clear mask would put it over the top for me.

What a brilliant custom! Nice work!!! I really like that. It perfectly fits in with the '66 line.

I have a few ideas about how to make a transparent mask without using a vacuform kit.
I've been trying to make clear, hollow plastic capsules (like toy ones in toy vending machines), and it was easier than expected using regular kitchen-table tools.

                      Tools:
                      1) Candle
                      2) Clear plastic from packaging or bakery cookies, etc.
                      3) Donor head or form, preferably mounted on an elevated platform, face-up. Head hot-glued on a dowel, attached to a piece of scrap wood would work

Cut the clear plastic into rectangles
Hold onto the sides and heat over a candle until plastic begins to look melty
Quickly place the plastic sheet over the donor head or form. Pull down on the sides firmly.
Let the plastic cool (1 minute) Wiggle the donor head/form out of the clear plastic mask
Trim along the edge to remove all the excess plastic

This may take a few tries!

I was watching his episode on MeTv last weekend and wondered where False Face's figure was!

It should work out fine for you.
This is exactly what my grandfather did to make his canopies for his balsa wood flying model airplanes back in the day.

Nice! One of my favorite Batman '66 villains.

I talked to The Boy - he'd like to work up a new head to use as the vacuum form buck. The way these can be made, it can be a full face or a partial lower face just like he did in the show (least, my memory remembers it that way)
