Max Cherry

This is a marginal custom at best but it's oddball and it kind of worked so I thought I'd share.

My pal Jason had a mad dream, he wanted to turn a Dan Holland from Black Hole into a figure of Max Cherry, the bail bondsman from "Jackie Brown". So I wanted in, I got the doll, plastidipped him and dressed him in some new rags and gave him a delfonics tape. Got mr Durso aka TheToyRoom to create the box which really tied it all together.

Wow! That's great, I love that character. What a great use for that 12" figure.

Now you got me thinkin' about doing a 12" Dutch Engstrom from Sam Peckinpah's "The Wild Bunch" using Harry Booth.

Super groovy. Only thing I could say to add in was maybe pencil some brow lines to really get that extra effect. Super fun custom though!

The execution of the figure is flawless. Kind of a weird choice but I really like it a lot.

I don't know the show or the movie - But I think you did a great job it. Looks great and in line with something mego would have made.
