Holy Wow... I picked up one of those DD kits myself. In fact the head is still my chosen DD noggin' though I replaced the belt with a silicone leg holster version I did to hold modified CHiPs baton casts. 19 years? Has it really been that long?

Glad this thread came up again great customs! Can you give me more info on using the Rit Sythetic dyes? I have used regular Rit Dye on clear 40th Gijoe figures and it worked great. Is it hard to get items like the chest to match the rest of the body in color? Any hints? I'm planning on dying some bodies including Mego,vintage Gijoe and Lone Ranger. I want to do them all at once so the mess is over and done. They are all made different plastics so it could be a mess to try them all at once. Any suggestions? I do have rubber gloves ready! No colored hands for me!
