    Whose side are you on?

With the theatrical release of Captain America: Civil War less than one week away, my final Civil War related custom endeavor is a two pack of Cap and Iron Man in a Civil War box.

Captain America is simply the EMCE/DST modern outfit from their Cap set assembled on Doc's swivel bicep body and featuring a Laser Mego star chest emblem instead of the center stitched, leather-like one that came with the costume.

'Ol Shellhead is my attempt at making a more modernized version by sculpting a Mark 7-ish armor pattern into Milliput that has been spread over a Super Knights armor foundation. He is built on a Type-S and his head is an Avengers Iron Man Pez dispenser utilizing a Laser Mego Pez head to Type-S adapter. His bodysuit is from Brian Leitner. His gloves are Doc Mego. His boots and armor foundation are CTVT.

The box was designed and assembled by me.

As always, I thank you all for stopping by and taking a look.

    Enjoy!

    John

I wrote it in paragraph form, that might have threw you off...here it is in list form with more detail on what I did to make the armor...

HEAD: Avengers Iron Man Pez dispenser with Laser Mego's PEZ head to Type-S adapter
                BODY: Type-S
                BODYSUIT: Brian Leitner
                GLOVES: Doc Mego
                BOOTS & ARMOR FOUNDATION: CTVT
ARMOR: Milliput spread over the disassembled parts of a CTVT Super Knights armor set. After about 30 minutes of applying the Milliput to each piece I sculpted, cut and edged an armor pattern based on the Mark 7 version into the Milliput. As I was sculpting the chest piece I pushed an inverted industrial plastic screw cap into the Milliput to serve as the chest beam lens housing. The chest beam lens is a small diameter rhinestone from Hobby Lobby. Once the paint and gloss varnish applications were dry self adhesive velcro was employed to attach the shoulder pads and keep the bottom halves of the body armor together.

Ironman came out great - also love the box art from the original comic series. I read that whole story line back in the day. Loved it
