Hi, folks. Loved The Motels back in the day and Martha is touring again. I saw her twice recently with the original sax/keyboard player Marty Jourard and three new guys (Clint, Eric, and Brady) and they are GREAT. If you get a chance to see The Motels near you, I urge you to get a ticket!

The static inside the bubble is making the hair fly around a bit!

Yep...she plays nearly everything except drums, according to her. LOL! And she sounds GREAT. The band does "meet & greets" after the show, too. Such a warm and friendly group.

Gadgeteer: Martha plays a GIbson Silverburst and it's my favorite guitar of hers (she does play others). I could either have used a Mego-scale Les Paul (same shape) or this one, which isn't the same shape but better matches color. I scoured the web and I'm pretty sure this is a Christmas ornament. :D Christmas ornaments are always a good choice for Mego-scale stuff, but you have to note the lengths given in the item description because they're not all uniform and some aren't a good fit. I used a Dremel to make tiny holes where I wanted to attach the guitar strap with eyeglass repair screws. Works like a charm. Real leather strap, too. *wink*
