          I remember that run! Jeff Purves was the artist, right? And Peter Davis was still doing the storyline at that point, I think.

                They are from a famous covers figure.
                What you need to do is boil some water - stick the legs in it - i leave in for about 30 secs or so.

                Than you have to cut the feet down a little from both sides and the toes.
                Pop the shoes in the water for like 5 to 10 secs - they will soften up

                than just slide them on.

                sounds harder than what it is - once you boil the feet you can basically use a scissor to cut the feet - Thats what I use. Hope this helps
