Jason Young used it a few weeks ago and earned himself a well-deserved COTW. It inspired me to finally finish my own.

Looking at the In Progress thread, I'm curious... why did you change out the boots and gloves? Those glove hands were pretty darn awesome.

Actually, I prefer the Iron Man gloves and boots in purple. I think they look awesome and much better than the original choice. They really sell the custom.

Austin taking one of MY ideas is a HUGE compliment. He and I share an attribute when customizing; we both ask ourselves “What would Mego have done?”. Austin is so good at making megoesque figures that I find myself sometimes asking “What would Austin do?” which is basically the same question.

As is often the case, I finish a custom (such as Powersuit Lex) that I’m pleased with and then BAM! Austin posts his version of the same character and kills mine. I am totally going with the fabric skirt, so we’re even.

Yes, the IM gloves and boots look fantastic and definitely give it a classic Mego vibe. So I can't argue with the results.
