Custom of the Week - 8/17/2015 - Doctor Strange!

This week the spotlight falls on nubee's many magical versions of Doctor Strange. With just the right blend of custom and off-the-shelf parts they all maintain that Thor era Mego feel.

For more pics, see the original thread here:

I finally finished my Dr. Strange(s). Many Thanks to all of the folks who posted their custom Dr. Strange(s). If not for those great customs I would not have been able to complete my own. Most of the items came from CTVT (head, hands, cuff, Space 1999 suit. I took the gold arm band off and recolor the suit.) It is on the best 8

Congratulations--they're great figures of a favorite character.

After seeing these, it seems to me Dr. Strange would be perfect for a Diamond set--you've captured the correct vibe and variety.

Oh WOW! This really came outta left field for me. I am really honored to receive the COTW recognition. Many thanks.

For the edge of the cape: For the yellow area, I used Marvy Uchida DecoFabric Fabric Marker (Yellow) ( I got the yellow from Utrecht Art Supplies store in NYC) and for the black areas, I used Uchida 510-6F Marvy Fine Tip Black Color Fabric Marker Set ( I got the black set from Amazon.)

Many thanks for COTW status and the kind comments.

You have inspired me to finish my Dr. Strange which has been a WIP for 10 years.

                            Bravo!!!
