Scarab -- the first enemy of the Mighty Isis

Each of Mego's World's Greatest Super Heroes should have had at least one villain to battle. Isis is no exception. So I created her very first: Scarab from Isis #1.

Scarab is made on an original Mego T2 brown body; head sculpt by Next2LastMohican; sandals, briefs, cuffs, and belt by CTVT; cape and paints by yours truly.

I hope you enjoy my customs and much as I do and, as always, thanks for looking!

    Peace, Love, and Megos!

Said it many times before, and I'll say it again - you knocked it outta the park, Austin. Very likely what Mego would've done - I can imagine it on a store shelf quite easily!

I'm thinking we should start throwing ideas and suggestions at you, just to challenge you and see the 8" wonders you come up with!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I love that you're doing enemies for Isis--Scarab is excellent.

I'm surprised the sandals fit 8" males so well--they look nice. I used a pair on a teen figure.

I'm not too familiar with the comics version--did Isis have any female foes?

Astounding work, my friend. Thanks for posting the comic book panels, so I could fully appreciate how well it came out.

            Comicvine has the covers.

This figure turned out great. Another great obscure ReMego creation.

He is going to do them all. Every single DC & Marvel character that has been published pre-2000 is my guess. I hope i'm around to see every one of them! Great job Austin!
I post in thy general direction!

Actually, I think even Mego would've come to their senses long before now! lol.

Can a "Turbo-Teen" custom be far behind?

Seriously though, beautiful custom. This is one of those times where I really wish you did custom packages for your figures, because this one would totally "pop" on a card.
