No offense to the Jack Nicholson Joker fans but, for me, Heath Ledger owns the cinematic portrayal of the Joker. Heath’s performance gave me chills, only two other silver screen villains accomplished that; Sir (Phillip) Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs in 1991 and David Prowse/James Earl Jones as Darth Vader in Star Wars (Episode IV: A New Hope, as it known now) in 1977. A brilliant and unforgettable performance overshadowed by his untimely death.

My TDK Joker was planned for completion before last Christmas but, preparations for the holidays proved to be too demanding and I did not want to rush him so, I bumped him to 2015. A combination of complications occurring between January and May prevented me from getting back into the hobby. But, attending Mego Meet was the catalyst that I needed to help kick my butt back in gear and focus on customizing again.
My Heath Ledger/The Dark Knight Joker was made using:
Head – I picked up the head sculpt from Sal a.k.a. CAZAFANTASMA last fall as part a head lot he was selling. Many thanks to CAZ/Sal…hey, I finally got him done! Paints by me.
Body – Type S
Hands – Doc Mego dyed purple
Trench, tie, socks & shirt – FTC/CTVT, the shirt was dyed and then bleached down by me.
Vest & Pants – Hand sewn by me.
Shoes – 8 Inch Super Store Tuxedo shoes
Box – Designed by Magyar1964, assembled by me.
