    McFarlane's SPAWN

This is my first custom. I used a head from eBay by the seller wadewilson2013 that I painted myself. The suit is from FTC, I painted the design on the suit. The body is a type "S" glow in the dark from Zica, and the remainder is a little bit of everything. I finally gave up on finding skulls that were close to Spawn's so I made them from FIMO effects clay. I think it looks pretty good but I'm interested in what everyone else has to say. I've added pictures with the revised cape.

Very nice figure. I am a Spawn fan, and that looks fantastic. Great job.

That is one of the best first customs I've seen and certainly miles ahead of my first. I love the detail work on the boot/spikes. If you feel like upgrading the cape, go to FTC's site and grab their new hooded capes. You can cut, split and sew up the hood to make form a collar and the cape will probably go down to the feet. Just a thought. But, overall this is a strong piece of work regardless if it's your first. It also might be the first Spawn custom I've seen.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Thanks for the tip on the cape. I considered just making one but I thought it would stray too far from the Mego format. I may just make a different one that's closer to the comic version.

Yeah super nice, i would add a longer cape with wire sewn into the seams for articulation. Screw first time this is just a great Custom, keep up the good work, and I cant wait to see your next custom.

Thanks, that was my thought for the cape so that it's posable.

Excellent work! Great choice for a custom too, I haven't seen many Spawn Mego customs.

On a different note, does anyone know what kind of material is used for the Mego suits? I'm planning on making some of my own.
