Today I present you with the leader of three-quarters of the world: Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner!
I started out wanting to make him in his "savage" costume, the one created by Mr. Fantastic to help him survive outside of water. And, I will eventually finish that costume, but in the meantime I had all of the parts to make him in his more traditional form.
Probably the most simple custom I have ever made, all things considered, but there is something about this one that strikes a chord with me. He is so crisp and clean. The colors just "pop" like straight from a comic book page. Well, without further ado, I give you the Sub-Mariner!
Built on an original Mego T2 body, belt, cuffs, and briefs from CTVT; ankle wings from Laser Mego; trident from the Marvel Legends Savage Sub-Mariner action figure; yours truly on the head resizing of a 2005 Hard Hero statue and paints.

In his natural habitat:

The statue he is based from:

The most simple, yet possibly the most effective custom I think I have ever made. The head sculpt is what really makes this one work so well, in my opinion.
I hope you enjoy my customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking!
Peace, Love, and Megos!
