Vinny0026 AMALGAM Captain America Jr. (Captain America & Captain Marvel Jr)

Vinny0026 AMALGAM Captain America Jr. (Captain America & Captain Marvel Jr)

Ok kids - Tonight we have an ALMALGAM - Captain America Jr. (Part Captain America & Part Captain Marvel Jr.)

Ok - I made this guy about a year and a half ago. Scott has given me the OK to post this figure and a little back story along with it.

Honestly I had no idea who this guy was. I found out about him from our very own Scott A.

I had finished up my US Agent or a Captain America and Scott had asked me how I made the shield - He than showed me the cover of Unlimited Access #4. and than told me his plan for last years Mego Meet Exclusive was to make this figure (Captain America Jr).

So I helped him out with some stickers (which I got from BatBob) and some pin backers which is how I made them.

Scott than went a different way last year for the exclusive figure. Than This year he re-visited his original plan - But only he went with the Captain America/Superman AMALGAM (Which I think was the right choice - he just pops better! IMO )

So I had this guy just sitting here and figured it would be nice to share him & the story.

So Thanks to Scott A for the idea to make him
The head is from Black Knight - Thanks J!
The Chest Sticker is from LaserMego - Thanks Paul
The Shield Sticker is from Batbob - on a pin backer and I made the handle
    Doc Mego or CTV Jumpsuit
Parts of a DC Retro Shazam, Cape from Brian Leitner - Thanks BL!
Boots from Dave Lee Which I painted myself
and he is on a Type S body

    Thanks for looking
    Enjoy!

The Mattel touches are a great example of why a customizer should never throw anything away - nice job Vinny. Nailed it.

Steve - I never throw out anything - which is why it takes me hours - even days sometimes to find a certain part. Its a real pain in the ***! lol
You have no idea how many times I could not find a part - re ordered it via Doc or Ctv etc.. just to find it at a later date. hahaha

The Shazam parts were perfect for him

Very sharp--you have a great eye for putting together a polished figure!

This was from a newer Amalgam series? I recall Super-Soldier but not Cap Jr.
