    Star Girl

    Just finished up this little lady today. CTVT body, head and boots. Mask and costume by me. Staff from DC figure.

    nice, looks like its right out of Mego Town. The mask looks factory painted.

            Thanks! The mask is actually Plasti-Dip. Pulled her hair back, drizzled on thinned Plasti-Dip with a chopstick and then cut away the excess with an exacto knife. Worked like a charm!

              Thanks! The mask is actually Plasti-Dip. Pulled her hair back, drizzled on thinned Plasti-Dip with a chopstick and then cut away the excess with an exacto knife. Worked like a charm! The hands are Plasti-dipped as well.

                That's plasti dip? Is it a custom color? That is absolutely brilliant! How the deuce did you cut that so precisely? Great job!

                  No custom color. Just the blue right out of the can that I thinned a little bit. Once it cured, I made some "cut-out" lines on it with a white colored pencil and then cut just inside the lines. The only thing I had to be careful of was going to deep so I didn't cut into the head. Just enough to go through the mask.
