Incredible Hulk No. 1 Kitbash by Thunderbolt

This is a kitbash Hulk with a wonderful paint job by Thunderbolt catching the Hulk transitioning from grey to green. The head is from a Marvel Legends grey Hulk and the body is a famous covers Hulk. The extra cool box is by The Toyroom. The Wolverine is Type3Toys'latest figure.

It's really cool how well the head fit on the body. That's my favorite sculpt of a Hulk head and the Famous covers Hulk body is the perfect scale, to me, for a mego-sized Hulk. The star though is Joe's excellent paint job. It was just a great idea to have him transitioning from grey to green. Anthony's box is just a perfect finish, tops it off perfectly. It really is amazing how much talent there is among various customizers on this board. And John's Wolverine is right up there with his best figures, and that's saying a lot because anyone who has seen his display at Mego Meet knows how sharp his work is.

THAT is so very cool! Incredible paint job and the outfit really helps sell the look. Very, very neat!

just to let everyone know a bit more about him, the shirt was made from an orange shirt I had around and the pants were 12 inch ones I had, I used 7 different colors painting him, 4 shades of green for a lot of the washes and dry brushing over a base coat of grey primer. I did have to do a bit of dremel work on the neck of the FC figure to get it to look right with the head. Thanks a lot all, glad you all like him. It got me out of customs boredom and resulted in me redoing my HULK figure, too.
