CrossBones - Captain America Enemy - With a touch of old and new school

Hey Kids - Tonight we have Crossbones - Captain America Foe.

He has been drawn many ways - So I decided to make him a little Old School mixed in with a little bit Modern
(I plan to do another one totally old school in the next few weeks with no vest and green pants etc..) With The vest off - he looks a little more 80's ish Cross Bones.

Body is a Brock Samson Body
I made the shirt. I offset the black in the chest area from the sleeves - This way the sleeves and pants would show up darker to off set all the black a little bit.

I Painted the vest black - I got it from Sal last year - worked perfect for Crossbones. (Thanks Sal)

I added all the gear from my spare parts bins - which really worked out well for the overall out come.

The awesome Head Sculpt was made and paint by Black Knight - Thanks J!

The Chest and Belt Sticker came Laser fast!! From Laser Mego - Thanks Paul!!

His awesome Box is being made by ToyRoom as we speak-(Thanks in advance Anthony!) I'll be sure to update the pictures once it gets here

Customs are funny in a way. Originally had a few different pieces on the figure. But could not find artwork for Toyroom to use on the box. Matter of fact there is like less than 5 pictures I found that would even be large or clean enough to use on a box! lol.

So when I found the art that is to the left of the figure. I switched it up a little to look more like it. This way once I get the box fromToyroom the figure will sort of match/blend with it.
I try to match the art as best as I can in most cases - but it does not always work out.

In this case I think it came close enough.

These Brock Bodies are pretty cool. I wish Doc would sell the flesh colored bodies on his site. He does sell the large white bodies - but not in flesh color ( Come on Doc Hook us up! lol)
I had to scramble to find cheap Brocks. I grabbed 5 of them for now for the projects I'm working on.

If you can get a carded brock for under 20.00 shipped is a good price. If not wait it out.
First 2 I spent 25.00 shipped. Last 2 I got for like 17.00 shipped.

Only down side of the bodies is: The hands - would be great if there were different hands for it in the right scale.
Also you can only pose it in a few ways. Thats why I did not go crazy on the pics - really not much else you can do with it.

Nice! I always thought Bane looked a bit too much like Crossbones. I always liked that design, and you did a great job with it!
