my sixth swing at Iron Man, this one inspired a lot by the threeA figure, not in appearance, but the paint apps, lights and pouch-iness. Its basically my last one from the waist down with a reworked helmet, newly sculpted chest pieces and fully posable hands. The ARC reactor and repulsors are led balloon lights I got off ebay. Pouches were given the same treatment that Cap's pants and harness were given, soaked in coffee and drybrushed with a lighter color for wear and tear. Decals are dry rubs from Woodland scenics.

couldn't resist the sponsor labels, maybe the shoulder armor was a racecar at one time.

faceplate is removable, I went back to the Jeff Gordon head this time

chest plate is held on by magnets so I can replace the light.

Cap and Iron Man

I used a new technique on the paints, its referred to as the salt technique, undercoat of primer, hairspray, rock salt, overcoat of final color, then soak thepart in water and brush off the salt. Worked great for him.
