Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive!

Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!

More of a kitbash than a custom, I slowly bought all of the pieces I would need to make a true Retro Mego Superman over the summer and finally have a chance to put him together as I await the arrival of final parts and components to complete the other three customs I plan to finish this year.

    Supes is comprised of:

    Head - CTVT/FTC Clark head
Body - Doc Mego swivel arm buff body
    Suit - Castaway/8ISS
    Boots - Doc Mego
    Belt - CTVT
    Cape - Doc Mego
Chest Emblem - eBay...seller posts as Fortress of Solitude...I think...sorry, lost the piece of paper with their eBay ID on it.

Thank you all for stopping by and giving him a look.

    Enjoy.

Tried to get the classic Superman pose going with the next two but, the arms wouldn't cooperate...now that I think about I should've tried looping his in the belt...dang it!

Very Cool!! Ive often thought about doing things like this. I like his suit. The blue material seems to have a slight shine to it. What about adding a couple fists? Well done!!!

Love mego superman. Had him as a kid too. Your custom is all that's great about remembering childhood megos in a new way.

Yes, with the fists you can kinda get the hands posed on the hips.

Great custom! I would only change the belt for one without the buckle. CTVT has "leather" plain belts in yellow... Just put the closing mechanism on the back and at the front figure something for an oval buckle...

Doh! I didn't even think of that...and what sucks is I have several leftover pairs from the Type S bodies I've used so far

I may have to revisit Supes and give him fists after the holidays.

My other thought is to correct the belt on this one and box him...keep him retro. Then do a Christopher Reeves Supes with fist hands next year
