He's Super Bad. He's Outta Sight. He's Black Dynamite!!! Can you dig it?
I was hoping Craig's AA Type S bodies would have been out in time for my BD reveal but, the universe likes whizzin' in my Cheerios...
Originally, when I began planning to build BD I was going to do just one and shortly after I modified a Deacon cast the flocking revolution erupted and so I decided I had to make two BD's as megoknight's infectious thread about flocking inspired me to dip my toes in making fuzz heads.
Both Black Dynamites are comprised of the same basic components with the exception of the heads:
Heads - Painted: Deacon cast (molded and cast by me) modified with Magic Sculpt by me and painted by me. Flocked: Paintable Black Dynamite head cast modified with Magic Sculpt, painted and flocked by me.
Bodies - Doc Mego AA Bodies
Shirts - CTVT yellow single pocket shirt
Belts - CTVT brown leather (Dukes belts, I believe)
Boots - CTVT brown motorcycle boots painted dark brown by me
Pants - Hand tailored and sewn by me
Jackets - Hand tailored and sewn by me
Revolvers - megonaught's finished .357's
Nunchuku - Hand made by me using wood dowel rod and Hobby Lobby jewelry chain
I am a little disappointed with how the jackets turned out as the fabric is a thicker upholstery grade pleather and is very rigid. I will look for an apparel grade brown leather in 2015.
