Just in time before the new NBC Constantine series premieres next Friday I got my classic Hellblazer Constantine done. I was such a fan of many of Vertigo's titles back in the 90s but none more than Hellblazer.

Constantine is made using:

Head: Doc Mego Flash Gordon sculpt with my paints
Body: CTVT
Shirt, Tie, Pants and Boots: CTVT
Trench Coat: Custom tailored and sewn by me.
Cigarette: Straight section of a large paper clip painted by me.

That turned out really great. Not aware of Constantine outside of the new Justice League Dark, but am totally looking forward to the new series and this figure really captures him!

As much as I would like to see a K. Reeves Constantine sequel I'm really hoping Marvel gives Keanu the nod to play Doctor Strange (Colin Farrell would just stink it up a la Bullseye in Daredevil and I am unfamiliar with Cumberbatch or whatever the third guy's name is), that may conflict with him reprising the Constantine role.

Looks awesome. That Flash Gordon head is perfect! The trench coat is great and was probably a lot of work. CTV has trench coats now if anyone else wants to make one of these figs and isn't brave enough to make the trench coat themselves. Cool figure!

CTVT does not have the tan/khaki color that Constantine wears, CTVT thought they were getting tan/khaki but, their supplier goofed and made maroon as I placed an order for the tan trench coat and was emailed about their supplier's error and given the option of a refund or another color trench coat. I opted for the dark brown as it would be perfect for Rorschach. CTVT announced the cloth trench coats after I had already bought the fabric for Constantine's coat so, when they told me about the supplier error I just reverted back to the original plan of sewing one up.
