I understand your anger about the Mattel version. I put Mattel Flash on a Doctor Mego body and he looks a lot better. I do like your custom!!! I think Matt "Next2LastMohican" Mejia is one heck of a head-master, his work is very influential to me. That Flash head you used almost gives me a John Wesley Shipp early 90's Flash feel to it.

Good eye, that's exactly who that head is. My original plan was to make him a John Wesley Shipp Flash but, I was having trouble finding the right shade of red leather to use for his costume. Then, I saw Boss' Flash and was inspired to simply make a better Flash than the Matty one I have. I finally found and purchased a yard of the perfect shade of red leather and I plan on doing a true John Wesley Shipp Flash, probably sometime next year.

Yes, I totally agree Matt Mejia has some gorgeous head sculpts.

For the lip color, I use the flesh-tone paint with just a smidgin of darker color mixed in.

Megoknight suggested that I just paint the lower lip.
I will experiment with both techniques.
