New 52 Superman!

I made this figure for a guy, who wanted a New 52 Superman, but he said it could have the Mego style head.
I had the head in my stuff, with bad paint rubs. So I repainted the hair with vinyl paint. I also painted the Doc Mego boots a darker red.
His magnificent suit is the work of the one and only Brian Leitner (bleit1701).
The awesome vinyl chest and back emblems, and vinyl sticker belt are done by Laser Mego / Paul Wasson (pmwasson).

Thanks Vin! I don't follow New 52 either, but when I was asked if I could do it, I knew who to go to. I like Superman's classic suit, but the new look is kinda growin' on me.

Did you use an airbrush? I'm trying to see brush marks and it looks super clean, to me. Nice job, man! I hate the idea of the New 52, but I like what you did!

Thank you! The paint is Delta Ceramcoat Tompte Red, that I had laying around. It was a perfect color luckily. At least 2 coats of that, as smoothly as I could brush it on. Then later, I sprayed the boots with Rust-oleum Painter's Touch Matte Clear to seal them.
