What tips it off as not being in the Mego era? I am not a comic book expert and do not know the difference

I was thinking it looked like Ron Lim too. For Mego era Silver Surfer check out FF 155. Thats all i got of the top of my head.

For a future version, I will but my Italian friend who I am doing the box for loves it so I am keeping it for this time
