The crow flies straight...A perfect line...On the devil's path...Until you die...
In honor of the upcoming seventh and final season premier of one of the greatest shows to hit the airwaves in recent years, I am pleased to present you with my Mego-verse version of Jax Teller.
I have been working on Jax since June when I found a 12" Jax Teller head sculpt on eBay and as soon as I got it I went to work with the Hydroshrink, in July I made a mold of the shrunk head and cut out a modified vest pattern so I could start sewing his "cut" together. In August I waited for the rest of his clothes to arrive from FTC/CTVT, found a motorcycle that would work and printed the vinyl stickers that would be Jax' patches and his bike's tank art. Last weekend, I painted the head so, that today I could assemble and photograph him for presentation.
In the show Jax rides a Dyna-Glide but, I could not find a bike that looked remotely close to a Dyna-Glide but, one of the metal motorcycles that Hobby Lobby sells looks like Jax father's (John Teller) Knucklehead so, I went with that one.
Head - Original 12" sculpt from 16toysculpts on eBay, shrunk and painted by me
Body - FTC/CTVT
"Cut"(Vest) - Vest pattern modified and sewn by me
Patches - Printable vinyl sticker media
Clothes & Shoes - FTC/CTVT
Belt & Knife - BBP John Locke/Lost accessory
Chain (Biker Wallet) - Hobby Lobby jewelry department
Cap - FTC/CTVT
M1911 pistol - Doc Mego
Bike - Hobby Lobby
Enjoy and, as always, thank you for viewing.
