Lex Luthor in modern armor
I did not want to post this because I know a certain member on here that announced he is working on the same Lex Luthor armor project but once I figured out that we are doing two different ideas of Lex's armor then I figured it would be cool to post my idea.
For awhile I have been trying to find/design a "Megoesk" (Scott, you should coin that word)
type of custom that would work in compatibility with all the other 8 inch sized figures.
When Mattel designed the Lex Luthor figure naturally I put him on a Dr. Mego body (which about 30 percent of everybody who customizes figures probably did the same thing).
Later on, working with an idea after sculpting armors for Ironman, War Machine, Whirlwind and Mr. Freeze I decided to see if I could design an armor for Lex Luthor.
Originally I wanted to tackle the Super Powers precrisis idea but at the time Lex Luthor had made his return in the armor and in DC comics and it didn't look half bad.
So, I took a hybrid of various ideas from the modern Lex Luthor (before the New 52 garbage) and I created an armor for him trying not to steal anyone's ideas which will probably be on the board here pretty soon and bump mine off into oblivion.
Unfortunately one shots came out kind of dinjy (trying to capture the shine with a flash lol) but I have better shots on the OGME page if anyone wants to check it out.
