    Mego Batman 66 boxes

Just thought I'd show these with the FTC Batman and Robin figures because someone ordered them. These designs are one of my early ones for my UK friend Martin Gainsford and I am thinking of doing a solid box Batman 66 series sometime that will pull out the stops. I found that the regular old Mego style inserts I used on this didn't fit Batman (the head is slightly oversized due to the cowl and the bat ears) and I had to adjust it. Robin fit well.

Thanks to noelani72, I got the same chipboard he uses and as a result have a sturdier, more authentic looking box with the cardboard back. It is harder to cut though and so I am getting used to it.

              Open Letter to Mr Mego73,
I'm the lucky recipient of the boxes pictured above...and they're considerably more breathtaking(heart-stopping) live than in these images. However, what understandably doesn't translate in the photographs is their WEIGHT. They're actually heavy...courtesy of the thick chipboard material Mike is using now. The added weight lends a certain sensation of durability and luxury to the package, which makes them equally fun to hold, as well as to look at. Besides this incredible detailed awesomeness, the graphics and art on the boxes are quite literally PERFECT. The level of beauty, in terms of vibrancy and digital flawlessness, boarders a bit on the koo-koo, which incidentally, really excites me. Only perfection will suffice!! When I received them in the post, I was instantly transported back to the Carter administration, once again(or Madame Thatcher's administration, depending on where I was in the early 70's)! I dare say, they're even nicer than the actual figures they hold(lucky little Megos)! -I had to store them straight away, or I would still be staring at them right now, and getting absolutely NO work done whatsoever! -I'm sooo looking forward to getting more of these!!!!! My Very Best Regards, A Bananas-Happy Customer!
