A Pair of Modified Captain Americas!
So I was inspired by EMCE's Pictures of their New Captain America from Comic Con.
This Morning I grabbed a Pair of Captain Americas from the Bins and went to work.
The Captain on the left:
Is all Original Mego Type 2 Captain America.(except his star) I touched up his Wings, His A and his nose.
Got out the needle and thread and made his correct sleeves, and added his proper belt.
also up graded his boots and added the gloves. I used more of a flat red on his boots to be more in style as original Mego.
Captain on the right:
Got the head from Terry Wood - Not sure where he got it, or who painted it. - Thanks Terry
The suit is a silk screen from Ed Naggy -Thanks Ed
I modified it buy adding the Belt.
added the boots & gloves. These boots are more bright and shiny red - but not use that will show up in the pictures.
I made the shield.
I wish EMCE would have used these type of boots on Capt. At the very least I wish someone would produce these again. I refuse to make a Captain America Custom with out them and they are becoming almost impossible to find
