Hi again all!
I thought for this week I would finish getting most of the rest of the Defenders, that I have made, in clams and get the backer cards for them printed. Most of these customs have been done for a while, just never had backers for their clams and one is not even a custom, it is an original Mego Hulk, with a custom card. Something else I've been meaning to say, that I forgot in my last two post, is a shout out to David Lee, for putting all those backer cards on the museum, for us poor slobs to use, that is what got me started in making my own cards in the first place.
Now to introduce the first two, we have Doctor Strange, I have had him on here before, but it was a long time ago, he is on a T1 body with head, spell hands and cape from the Doc and the suit from Brian Leitner, with my paints on the head and hands, the custom card is pretty much the same as the one David put on here with the rest of the card files, except I changed the color of the pants. Next is Valkyrie, she is my newest custom, body is an original Mego, head is a Kelly Bundy from ctvt as well as the repro Isis boots, suit, cape, belt, Madonna bra and cuffs all made by me and her hair braids were done by my wife, as I cannot braid to safe my life, LOL, the card I made using gimp
Next up is the Silver Surfer, I have had him made for a while and he is the one I use as my avatar on here, silver suit from Brian Leitner, resin head is a Reed Richards, also from Brian, with the ears shaved off and my paints, his board is made by me using a piece of pressed cardboard and my paints, card is one of a series of Cosmic heroes that I am making, showcasing all the heroes in the series on the back. Namor has also been done for a while and been on here before, a long time ago, body is an original T2, his head I believe came from Brian Leitner, but I'm not sure about that, paints by me, shorts are from an original Robin, I made the bracelets, belt and ankle wings. His card is another in a series I'm doing, of underwater characters this time, and I have only made 2 of the characters so far off the back of the card.
Up Now is Nighthawk, body is an original T2, his suit is from Brian Leitner (see a pattern here? his suits are amazing!) head is from him as well, with my paints and I made the little wings on his eyes, boots are from ctvt, now his card is from another series I am making that i have dubbed the high flyers set. Hulk is an original Mego with a custom backer card straight from David's files on here, that I printed out, all the cards have been laminated by me as well.
Last, but not least, is a group shot of all the Defenders together with the Son of Satan and Hellcat that I had up here last week, enjoy!
