The World's Strangest Heroes...part 1...Cliff Steele...The ROBOTMAN!!

Redid my Robotman after I noticed he needed some cleanup, so I went all Vertigo/Grant Morrison on him. Repainted and changed some details to allow for clothing. I've always liked the coat and stompers from that phase, its getting me to go and revise my whole group of figures. Body is Urban Icons with a modified Brian Leitner sculpt, altered coat from the spares with (gasp!!) Craft foam shoulder pads and boot detail.





I think the rest of my line will be Negative Man, Niles Caulder's head in a jar, Beast Boy, Mento and maybe Crazy Jane and Flex Mentallo.

I'm definitely not familiar with this version, well I'm not familiar with pretty much any version outsidde of what Byrne did. THis new one is a very cool, modernized take and has an urban feel to him, kidna what you'd expect if Eminem became a robot. Look at the second shot and tell me that's not pretty close.

I don't know either version of Robotman
But what I do know is that this is a cool looking figure.

I like what you did with the head - it says both human and robot and the same time - pretty cool
