    Marvel's First Superheroes....

    The Fantastic Four!

Lots of thanks and credits belong to several people:

This project started when I purchased Boss' Invisible Girl. I knew I had to make the rest when I received her. Mr. Fantastic is built on a Zica body with a head that Boss provided and a hand that came from BlackKnight many moons ago. Scott Arendsen provided the boots for him. Human Torch is built on a Doc Mego body and the boots were provided by Terry Wood (madmarva). The idea for the flaming head, of course, is from Krypt0nite's Ghost Rider - such a great idea. The Thing is built on a Doc Mego tall muscular body provided by Brown Bear. The rock idea comes from tbolt's Grimm. When I saw his I thought "hmm...wonder what real rocks would look like?"

The fantasticar was made by Paul (pmwasson) - absolutely stunning custom piece. Couldn't be prouder to have it in my collection.

They look great Derek. Boss' Invisible Girl set the tone, but you really followed through with aplomb. All the figures
      look great, especially the Thing.

Now, set them against Captain Mego's custom Dr. Doom--I'd faint lol.

neat figures, I tried to go the real sculpy rocks route but I was loosing too much articulation.

Wow! What a great group shot! They all look amazing, but together is unbelievable.

I hope Diamond Select / EMCE takes notice!

I'm glad my Fantasticar could contribute.

DC - this set is awesome.

great job by all who helped you in this quest
and great job by you finishing them off and bringing them to the finish line.

What head did you use for Johnny?
                The thing came out "Fantastic"

I love that fantastic car - I wish Paul would do another run of them
I was not around when it was first offered.

                Again awesome set

I've had Johnny's head in my toybox for years. Got it from customslab way back. Not sure who it is.

Wow! Wicked cool. You've pulled together the handiwork of some of the best customizers on the board, added in a heaping helping of your own amazing talent, and the whole is even greater than the sum of the parts. These came out pretty much perfect.
