Spiderman & Black Cat 2 pack!


This one was real fun to make.

I had this one in the works for a long time - was glad to finally complete it.


I have been laid up all week due to pulling my back out - So I have not worked in like a week. I could not move much at all.

So I took the time to finish this 2 pack up.


Spiderman:

I used a Black Sharpie to paint the webs on Spidys Head.

I also re-painted Spidys suit to match the art work on the card. Realized after I sealed him up that I should have painted the webs on his hands as well.


Black Cat:


The suit was made by Hawk Mike was back - on a custom Black cat I made back in the day.

So I removed the suit and added it to a Yvonne Body - So big thanks to Mike B!!


The Head was made by Austin - Thanks Austin!

I sent it to Black Black Knight - he modified it and painted it for me - and it came out awesome - Thanks J!


Another awesome card backer from Toyroom

I sent him the art I wanted for the back of the card - and he modified it,

He also picked out the perfect art work for the front of the card. Just perfect for this project.

that's the head that I commissioned Austin to do a few years back...he and I both weren't sure how it would turn out. It was so small to start with. He did a great job on it.

You did a wonderful job with this two-pack Vinny. Even though you don't do much of the actual work yourself, you have a great "Mego eye" as we say for what looks good together and what works. Nice job.

Thanks DC for the kind words - I think the ideas I come up with and my style of bashing really are my skills.

yeah painting is just not my thing. Some of you guys have amazing - jedi-like skills when painting heads.
Its something that no matter how much I practice it - I will never get it. So when I make a custom I rather pay to have the head done right than to look at it and be disappointed.

My sewing and other skills seem to be coming along real nice:
like what I added to the Punisher, sewing caps white sleeves on, my Scarlet -Spiderman and a few others I did not finish up yet.

Really for me its the love of the hobby - and the love of Megos
I think my ideas are far better than my skill set - But I think when everything is mashed together it turns out a great product.

And most of the inspiration comes from everyone here at the MM - I'm just happy to bring my style to the boards and glad you guys enjoy it
