Too bad Mego didn't spring for a couple more paint apps for Batman back in the day...a little black paint takes him from good to wow!
Also, the Joker looks much better with his trademark purple gloves courtesy of a quick Riddler hand swap.

Wow! That Batman looks pre-CISE! Can you post a close up? How did you apply the paints, and what kind?

Thanks! Folk art acrylic enamels applied with a couple small brushes. Dries in less than five minutes.

Dwayne - that is exactly how they thought Batman's final design would appear.

When you take the Batman concept art with its black shaded forehead and look at the Batman '66 design, you can see how they were trying to mix-n-match the two.

Yeah, years ago I painted mine with the black shadows. It looks even better if the eyes are all white.

Nice work! Even as a kid it puzzled me why Cap got a forehead shadow (which he sometimes had, but not always) and Batman did not (which he almost ALWAYS did).
