Wow. I feel like Mego is still making new action figures. This is stunningly impressive.

I think overall, more than any other customizer I've seen, you GET the Mego aesthetic, and you channel it into every figure you make...and you make A LOT!!! Yet the quality never waivers. I don't know when you find time to eat or sleep, but you make me feel positively lazy by comparison.

So how many are on track for 2014?

the priorities for 2014 are, first and foremost, helping other customizers with their respective projects. I have a lot of custom requests from others that I plan on being involved with (and you know who you are)

For myself I want to finish a number of Avengers customs (George Perez Beast, Hawkeye, Goliath); Spider-Man customs (Working with Next2LastMohican on some sculpts for Spider-Man Unlimited the animated series customs); and my major project will be a recreation of my favorite comic book story of all time Giant -Size Defenders 3.

The plan is to create a three-level dida display where each level recreates each battle scene along with custom figures of all the heroes and villains who partake in the Grand Master's "game"

A year in review of your work makes me want to just stop making customs. (with your permission) I have to repost this on my page. This is another one of those Austinextravganza MEGOESK custom works.
Even though you could opt out and buy the real cool new gloves on CTVT's website. You stick to simple yet delightful views of Marvel and DC designs in the fashion of original Mego. Almost like a "what if mego was still making figures" approach. I think that's why I connected with your stuff right away was because it reminded me of being a kid and seeing a Mego figure in a catalog, it wasn't always "comic properly" correct but it was Mego's attempt at a not too busy but awesome figure.
