2013: MEGOWGSH Customs -- Year in Review (WARNING!! Picture Heavy!!)
For whatever reason I was truly inspired this year to make customs.
What I dubbed my "Year of Completion" had a double meaning. I had so many customs at so many different levels of completion that I wanted to finish AND I wanted to "complete" as many sets of customs as I possibly could because I hate incomplete groups.
My goal was to complete 52 new customs for the year (averaging one complete and finished custom per week).
2013 has come and gone and I am proud to say that I have posted on this forum 85 new customs in calendar year 2013. AND two playsets! There are more that I have completed but have not displayed in public yet (but will in 2014).
There are so many people to thank for this accomplishment. I know I cannot name them all, but I will try my best: Hawkmike, Bleit, Dr Mego, CTVT, Castaway Toys, ZICA, BBP, ScottA, Mrs ScottA, MegoScott, Jimsmegos, Legend of Link, thunderbolt, Next2LastMohican, thorpuck, Daremo, lasermego, everybody who traded me for a part I needed, everybody who bought something from me so I had money to buy what I needed, everybody who gave me advice and ideas on the works in progress section, everybody who posted in my threads and on Facebook, and especially my wife who understands this is my therapy. If I missed anybody please forgive me. I appreciate you all. And, I could not do what I do without you and the support of this forum.
To celebrate I give you a peek into my world of custom Mego World's Greatest Super Heroes:

PS If anybody has a nice original Mego Mr Fantastic head that is not "zombified" to spare please contact me. I sacrificed mine for my John Byrne custom Mr F.

That is some real customized Mego-ey goodness! If Mego was to ever make a comeback, they'd need to hire you. Your customs embody the true spirit of Mego.
