As some saw I did a poll in the custom mego discussion chat to see if people preferred Monica Rambeau with an afro or braids and of course afro power won.
So, I decided to so another one of those "Classic costume" things where I tackle an original suit. I always liked Monica Rambeau when she first appeared as the new "Captain Marvel." Even though she explains in Avengers there is no connection to her and the recently deceased Captain Marvel....she says she just liked the name. huh? Yeah, Marvel Comics way of keeping the Captain Marvel name so they could make DC dance around dangling the name in front of them like a hungry monkey with a banana and anybody with half a brain could see that.
So enough of that, making the suit was weird. She has baggy sleeves that are attached to her gloves. They sometimes look like smaller versions of Storms and then I noticed it really depended on the artist so I decided to make a choice and base it around this...

UPDATE!
As some of you know I am a tweaker and I decided to adjust her boots to give them that captain's boot flap hangover flap that almost resembles bell bottoms in a way. I think I have nailed the boot. A little bit of vinyl, sculpty and some TLC and a simple boot and it's all done. The boots are now officially finished and forever in this form.
