Felix Faust -- Enemy of the Justice League and Sorcerer Supreme!

From wiki: Felix Faust first appeared in 1962 as an adversary of the Justice League of America. The character of Felix Faust was apparently modeled on Doctor Faustus, the protagonist of Christopher Marlowe's play, The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus.



Felix is built on a Mego Type 2 body with "magic spell hands" from www.drmego.com; head is from Next2LastMohican on eBay; belt from CTVT (painted orange by me); suit and paints by yours truly. I fashioned his "skirt" to the inside of the belt.



I always thought he would make a great enemy for Isis, so here they are together.





Here is a rare television appearance: Galactic Guardians: "The Case of the Stolen Powers" While languishing in prison with the Penguin as his cellmate, evil necromancer Felix Faust conjures up a spell which enables him to steal the special powers of Superman.

OK Austin, you truly have the secret to being the best Mego silkscreen costume maker. I'm just figuring out how to do that but you are the man. I love how you can take any head and shrink or enlarge it to Mego size. The painting is truly the hardest part believe me. This is just simply amazing. I have always loved Faust and the fact you did the classic Felix Faust is even better. Hats off to you buddy! I have a pair of tan Robin shoes around here somewhere if you need them. Sometimes he is pictured with those.
