My First Backer Card: Clark Kent

Hi everybody. This is a kit bash Clark Kent that I made for my 8 year-old. He likes the alter-egos. It's a Christmas present. I didn't want to deprive him of the experience of ripping the package open, so I pur a package together for him. I modified one of the Superman backer cards from here in the museum and then replaced the Superman logo with a Clark Kent logo that I created in photoshop. After that, I spray glued some poster board between the front and back and trimmed to size. The bubble was cut out from an EMCE Star Trek package. The recipe for Clark was pretty straightforward. Swivel arm Body by Doc Mego. The head, clothes and glasses are CTVT.

By the way, I don't know how to make the image show up, but I've included a link to the gallery image.

Thanks. I love it when he rips 'em. The packages, I mean.

Thanks. I stepped away from all of the toys and stuff for about 6 years, mostly due to money issues. (Diapers or toys? Tough choice!) Now i just buy toys for him instead of me. He's at an age where he can appreciate the megos more and it feels good to do these kinds of things for him. Hopefully, he'll have some of the mego memories all of us here had as kids. Plus, every minute he uses his imagination with megos is one minute less wasted on video games, right?

Nicely done! And a excellent choice for your first subject. I look forward to seeing more.
